Our family run operation has been supplying gypsum since 1978 to both the industrial and agricultural markets. Gypsum Supplies finely screens its product making it suitable for low application rates. Our Loader is fitted with a trade approved certified on-board weighing system for quick and accurate loading.
Gypsum is used as a low cost non-acidifying form of sulphur and can improve soil structure on heavy dispersive clays by making the soil aggregates more stable (Jarvis R, 2000). Gypsum has also be found to help with the effects of aluminium toxicity on the wodgil soils of the Eastern Wheatbelt. Due to the high returns from growing canola over recent years, demand for gypsum as a low-cost form of sulphur has been strong.
